Pemodelan Non-Stoikiometrik Gasifikasi Biomassa Dan Simulasi Dengan Python
ABSTRACT
Gasification of biomass converts biomass into gas fuel which can be used in
conventional equipment such as boilers, engines and turbines or sophisticated
equipment such as fuel cells as heat and electric generator. Simulation of the
gasification of biomass is done by several approaches, one of them is a nonstoichiometric
equilibrium model which is determined by minimizing free Gibbs
energy. In this study, the simulation process was carried out using Python. Python
is a free and open source programming language that is suitable to make learning
program packages, so that the resulting software can be studied and developed
freely. The resulting program is displayed in a Graphical User Interface (GUI)
using the PySide2 library in Python. The conclusions obtained are: (1) The
algorithm produced in the non-stoichiometric modeling of biomass gasification
includes the Gibbs free energy minimization calculation algorithm and the GUI
program design algorithm to access the Gibbs free energy minimization
calculation algorithm. (2) The Gibss free energy minimization calculation
program that is equipped with a GUI program can be run with output data in the
form of syngas composition in tabular form for each temperature and ER and a
graph of the effect of temperature / ER on syngas composition. (3) The average
accuracy of the syngas composition of the model simulation results for the CH4,
CO, CO2, and H2 components is 86.53%, 89.93%, 88.79%, and 87.60%,.
