Analisis Kemampuan Sosial Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Berdasarkan Profesi Orangtua Di Kecamatan Kapur IX Provinsi Sumatera Barat

This research is based on the low social abilities of children aged 5-6 years. Social abilities have an important role in society to achieve social skills that will have a positive influence on children's development. Without the support of parents, it will be difficult for children to achieve something maximum and it will be difficult to achieve success. This study aims to see the social abilities of children aged 5-6 years based on the profession of parents in Kapur IX District, West Sumatra Province. This research is quantitative with descriptive method. The population of this study was 68 children. The data technique in this study was carried out by distributing questionnaires aimed at parents aged 5-6 years in Kecamatan Kapur IX. The results of the analysis in the study of the social abilities of children aged 5-6 years in Kapur IX District with an average of 68.15. This means that the social abilities of children aged 5-6 years develop according to expectations, seen from the profession of AUD people, then the social skills of AUD is in the high category (BSH-BSB) with the professional background of the parents of PNS (59.9%), Traders (55.3%) ; while the lowest category (BB-MB) mostly had parental background as construction workers (12.01%), farmers (12.4%).
