Pengaruh Pendidikan Kesehatan Metode Snow Balling Terhadap Tingkat Pengetahuan Tentang Dampak Bermain Game Online Pada Remaja

An online game is a game that is played individual or more than one players and most liked
by teenagers as well. Due the low knowledge of the negative effect of online game, a user
could get a negative risk of addictive in online game. Snow balling method is expected to
increase aknowledge of the effect of online game. The aim of this study is to find out the
effect of health education of the level of knowledge in the effect of an online game of
teenegers with using snow balling method. The data were collected from 32 respondent from
junior high school student that were divided 2 groups, which was a control group has 16
respondent, and an experiment group has 16 respondent. The experimental group was given
health education of snow balling method with the problems given in the discussion about the
impact of playing online games. The questionnaire for level of knowledge was used before
and after intervention to measure the adolescence’s knowledge. This research used a
statistical non parametric wilcoxon test. Researcher can conclude that health education using
snow balling method are effectively to increase the level of knowledge about playing online
