Analisis Ketersediaan Sumber Air Baku Pdam Tirta Kampar Kota Bangkinang
ABSTRACT
The city of Bangkinang has an area of 177.18 km² which is inhabited by
40,639 residents. The city of Bangkinang itself is traversed by one of the rivers,
namely the Kampar River. The Kampar River is one of the main sources for the
residents of Bangkinang city to fulfill their water needs. The Kampar River is the
source of raw water (Intake) of the Tirta Kampar Regional Drinking Water
Company (PDAM) in Bangkinang City. With the increase in population, the need
for water also increases. Early anticipation of water availability needs to be done
to avoid a deficit in water demand. In this study the authors conducted an analysis
of the availability of raw water sources in the Kampar River using the F.J. Mock
to find flow rates and analyze the availability of raw water sources by the
Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) until 2030 so that clean water needs
are met for the community. From the analysis, it is found that the mainstay
discharge value of the Kampar River is 4.394 m3 / s which is intended for PDAM
Tirta Kampar, and it is known that the water discharge needs of the residents of
Bangkinang City until 2030 is 0.630 m3 / s. This means that the Kampar River
discharge is still very sufficient to be used as a source of raw water for PDAM
Tirta Kampar.
