Analisis Dispersi Karbon Monoksida (Co) Dari Kegiatan Transportasi Di Jalan Hr. Soebrantas Menggunakan Model Gaussian Line Source
ABSTRACT
HR. Soebrantas street is classified as a secondary arterial road that used to service
and public distribution activities in the city. Traffic activity at this street will affect
the amount of gas pollutant emissions generated from the vehicles. The purpose of
this study is to estimate the distribution pattern of carbon monoxide (CO) emissions
emitted from vehicles crossing HR. Soebrantas Street, measuring the
concentrations of CO and comparing the data on the measurement of CO
concentrations in the location with ambient air quality standard based on
Government Rule No. 41/1999 and mapping the predicted of CO concentrations
from the traffic counting that crossing at HR. Soebrantas Street. The method used
is measuring the concentration of CO, speed and wind directions, exhaust height,
traffic counting that crossing at HR. Soebrantas Street and modelled by Gaussian
Line Source. The results of this study show that the CO concentrations from traffic
counting predicted by the Gaussian model is the highest on Monday at 04.00-05.00
P.M with value of 5,27x10-8 ppm at point I and the lowest is on Sunday at 10.00-
11.00 A.M with value of 5,21x10-13 ppm at the point III. From the result of the CO
concentrations sampling in the HR. Soebrantas Street, the highest concentration is
on Monday 07.00-08.00 A.M at point I with concentrations on the right side of the
road is 10 ppm and 35 ppm on the left side of the road at 0 m, this concentrations
has exceeded the quality standard. The lowest concentration is on Sunday 06.00-
07.00 A.M at point III with consentrations in the measured range of 0-5 ppm on the
both sides road of the HR. Soebrantas Street. Based at the mapping from the
Gaussian model, the highest CO concentrations is marked with red area with
vehicle increasing until 10.911units/h.
