Pengembangan Media Visual Outdoor untuk Kemampuan Mengenal Bentuk Geometri pada Anak Usia 4-5 Tahun
This study aims to produce certain products in the form of Visual Outdoor media to improve the ability to recognize geometric shapes in children aged 4-5 years. This type of research uses the Brog & Gall Research and Development method. The development procedure consists of several stages, namely potentials and problems, gathering information, product design, product validation and product revision. In this study there were no media trials to kindergarten due to the Covid-19 pandemic. From the data analysis, it can be seen that the results of the assessment from the material expert validator obtained a percentage of 82% in the very feasible category, the validation from the media expert was 74%, declared feasible, with suggestions for adding more examples in order to increase children's creativity. Furthermore, the assessment by 5 certified kindergarten teachers got a percentage of 83% which stated that it was very suitable for use in school. So it can be concluded that the Visual Outdoor Media is suitable for use in learning activities for the introduction of geometric shapes in children aged 4-5 years.
