Sintesis Dan Karakterisasi Nanopartikel Perak Menggunakan Ekstrak Kulit Buah Naga Merah Sebagai Bioreduktor (Hylocereus Polyrhizus)
Silver nanoparticles were successfully synthesized using red dragon fruit peel
extract (Hylocereus polyrhizus) as a bioreductor. The synthesis process was mixed
the solution AgNO3 1 mM and red dragon fruit skin extract with a volume
comparison of 1:3, 1:5 and 1:7 and then mixed with a few drops of NaOH solution
1M until the solution has a pH of 10 each. The solution was stirred using a magnetic
stirrer for 14 minutes for each sample then incubator. The samples were characterized
using UV-Vis (Ultra Violet Visible) spectroscopy resulting in the wavelength peaks
(416-433 nm). The result of Fourier Transform Infra-Red Spectroscopy (FTIR)
shows six major groups that have intervals of 602-3427 cm-1. The results of XRD (XRay
Diffraction) spectrum analysis show a 10.07-102.73 nm crystal-size with
FCC (Face Center Cubic) crystalline structure and have an Ag2O impurity.
Morphology from the characterization of SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope)
shows that sample is still agglomerated. This research shows the optimal condition
for the synthesis of silver nanopartcles using red dragon fruit peel extract
(HylocereusPolyrhizus) has a volume comparison of 1:7.
