Pengukuran Volume Tbs Kelapa Sawit Menggunakan Computer Vision Dengan Aturan Simpson
Volume is one of important quantities to sorting process for oil palm fresh fruit
bunches (FFB). Computer vision method is an alternative method to estimated
volume, which is non-destructive method and provide the quick time show the
result. This study is focus to build computer vision system to determine the
volume of oil palm FFB using the ellipsoid equation and segmentation process by
Simpson rules. The result of computer vision will be compared to manual
measurement and water displacement as comparison. Triangulation laser’s
method is applied in this computer vision system to get the contours of the laser.
The position of the laser is 10 cm from the camera with an angle 10 degree and
the distance between the cameras and object as far as 97 cm. Pixel conversion
from the system is 12,1336 pixels/cm3 which done by using a ball. The result of
the comparison of oil palm FFB’s volume between computer vision and manual
methods have an average difference of 0,72 x 103 cm3 with the spread of data is
95%. The comparison with water displacement method show an average
difference of 2,25x 103 cm3 with spread of data is 95% in Bland-Altman plot.
