Prediksi Parameter Cuaca Kota Pekanbaru Menggunakan Metode Monte Carlo
Indonesia has a tropical climate, where the weather act very influences the climate conditions in Indonesia. Weather conditions greatly affect daily life, both in agriculture, trade, aviation, and others, so a computational approach is needed to predict weather conditions to anticipate extreme weather events. This study aims to create a MATLAB R2015a-based program that can be used to predict weather parameter values such as air temperature, air pressure, air humidity, wind speed, and rainfall that can be utilized as a temporary approach. The research data in the form of monthly average weather parameters in 2014-2018 were obtained from the Meteorology and Climatology and Geophysics Agency of Pekanbaru City which will be simulated computationally using the monte Carlo method. Weather parameters are related to one another, air temperature is influenced by wind speed, humidity, and rainfall. The highest rainfall generally occurs in November, where the lowest humidity and air temperature occurs in November. MATLAB R2015a based program in this study has a small error value, which is 0.0887913.
