Analisis Dose Report Dan Ketidaknormalan Bagian Otak Rekaman Citra Ct Scan Mengunakan Metode Thresholding Dan Operasi Morfologi
Brain problems rise frequently in public health. One of problems, abnormalities
occurring in the brain can be identified medically by using Computed
Tomography Scan in Radiology Installation. This treatment aims to identify
abnormalities that arise in the brain commencing by irradiating the patient's head
organs with X-rays. These abnormalities can be identified by dose reports and and
image consisting geometry of object.The results of irradiation are presented in the
form of CT Scan images and dose reports. This investigation uses Thresholding
methods and morphological operations to determine the geometry of
abnormalities in the image using PHP’s programming. After that, the parameters
of the images were evaluated and converted in the form of grayscale to uniform
the standard values, and operated by thresholding to obtain a black-white image.
These results were used to determine abnormalities by morphological operations.
The effective dose values were obtained from the numerical calculation as a
function of Computed Tomography Dose Index Volume and Dose Length product
values. Patients are only classified at 30 years and older, and found the empirical
weighting factors used in the value of 2,1 x 10-3mSv.mGy-1.cm-1. The highest
effective dose value is 6.739068mGy and the lowest one is 0.074045mGy. The
largest volume (4416 pixels) is found in the largest effective dose, and also the
lowest effective dose is found in the lowest volume (432 pixels). This
investigation has successfully developed abnormality images; however, two
sample are not detected since the geometry of brain tissue has no discrepancy
intensity properly. The geometry results obtained from this study is to be
preliminary data for further medical investigations.
