Pengaruh Pemberian Tindakan (Reward Dan Punishment) Dan Motivasi Terhadap Disiplin Kerja Guru SD Negeri Kecamatan Perhentian Raja Kabupaten Kampar
Human Resources (HR) is one very important factor that cannot even be separated from an organization, either a company or an instinct. Human resources or employees are the most important assets in an organization because they are the sources that direct the organization and maintain and develop the organization in various demands of society and times. In order to achieve organizational goals, qualified human resources are needed who are able to contribute all their efforts in order to serve the needs of the public and advance the organization, so that they are expected to be able to make valuable contributions to agencies. Discipline is very important for organizational growth, especially to motivate employees to be able to discipline themselves in carrying out work both individually and in groups.
Based on the background, several problems can be formulated in this study as follows: 1) How is the reward and punishment of teachers in SD Negeri Perhentian Raja District, Kampar Regency in terms of demographics? 2) How is the work motivation of teachers in SD Negeri Perhentian Raja District Kampar seen from the demographic side ?, 3) How is the discipline of the work of teachers in SD Negeri Perhentian Raja District, Kampar Regency in terms of demographics? 4) How much influence does reward and punisment have on teacher work discipline in SD Negeri Perhentian Raja District, Kampar Regency? ) How big is the influence of teacher work motivation with teacher work discipline in SD Negeri Perhentian Raja Subdistrict, Kampar Regency ?, and 6) How big is the effect of reward and punishment and teacher work motivation on teacher work discipline together in SD Negeri Perhentian Raja District, Kampar Regency ?
The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable, namely the effect of reward and punishment as well as teacher work motivation on teacher work discipline in SD Negeri Perhentian Raja District, Kampar Regency. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive study and a survey method with correlational resarch techniques. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire / questionnaire with 96 respondents from 114 teachers at SD Negeri Perhentian Raja, Kampar district who were randomly selected as samples using the Slovin formula. The research method used was that respondents gave responses to a questionnaire in the form of a Likert scale consisting of five answer choices, namely Very Often, Often, Occasionally, Ever, and Never. The data analysis used was descriptive and inferential statistics.
Based on the data analysis, it is known that, there is an effect of reward and punishment and work motivation on teacher work motivation in SD Negeri Perhentian Raja District, Kampar Regency, either partially or collectively. This research is expected to be useful for improving the work discipline of teachers in SD Negeri Perhentian Raja District, Kampar Regency in carrying out their duties and obligations.
