Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Matematika Berbasi S Model Discovery Learning Untuk Memfasilitasi Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematispada Materi Bangun Ruang Sisi Datar
This research is inspired by the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in education which requires teachers to prepare learning well. One form of preparation carried out by the teacher is preparing learning tools that support the implementation of the 2013 curriculum, including mathematics. The results of observations and analysis conducted by researchers on the learning tools used by teachers in several SMP in Kampar, obtained information that the learning tools made by teachers still need to be improved. One example, the lesson plan used by the teacher has not used the correct operational verb (KKO) on the competency achievement indicator and the description of the core learning activities is not in accordance with the steps of the learning model used. Based on these problems, researchers conducted research with the aim of producing mathematical learning tools with discovery learning models that meet valid and practical criteria in an effort to improve students' mathematical problem solving abilities on flat-sided shapes.
This type of research is development research. Learning tools are developed using a 4-D model with the following stages: (1) define (preliminary and final analysis, student analysis, task analysis, material analysis and objective specification); (2) design (choosing the format and designing the syllabus, lesson plans, and LKPD); (3) develop (expert validation and practical test); (4) disseminate. Learning tools developed are syllabus, lesson plans, and student worksheet. The instruments used to collect data in this study were validation and practicality instruments. The validation sheet is used to get an assessment of the validity of the syllabus, lesson plans, and student worksheets. Practical instruments use teacher activity observation sheets and student response questionnaires.
The results of the validation state that the product developed reaches a very valid category with an average rating for the syllabus 96.67%, RPP 92.68%, LKPD 96.08%. In this study, it only reached the practicality test stage for 8 students due to the learning process that was not possible due to the Covid-19 outbreak. The results of the calculation of the practicality of the teacher response questionnaire obtained by the average total assessment of students on the readability of LKPD-1 to LKPD-6, namely 94.04%, meaning that the readability of the LKPD developed was "very practical" used by students. The development product in the form of a learning device based on discovery learning model on the

flat-sided shape material has met the valid and practical criteria to facilitate students' mathematical problem solving abilities.
