Pengaruh Doping Nikel Terhadap Sifat Fisis Nanomaterial Zno
ZnO nanorods has successfully been grown on the surface of FTO (Flourine Thin Oxide). The
growth of ZnO nanorods was carried out using the seed mediated growth method, whereas the Ni
doping was carried at different concentration. The effect of nickel doping at ZnO nanorods was
observed using Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FESEM), Energy Diseperssive X
rays (EDX), UV-Vis Spectroscopy, and X Rays Diffraction (XRD). ZnO nanords having
hexagonal shape were shown in FESEM images, and overlap of ZnO nanorods that resembles
nanoflowers with enlarges the rods size caused by adding nickel doping was also shown. EDX
spectra of 15mM Ni-dopped ZnO showed that atom percentages of 40.4%, 33.9%, 24.9%, and
0.,8%, respectively for O, Zn, Sn and Ni. Meanwhile spectra for 20mM sample showed 32.3 %,
30.0 %, 36.7% and 1.0% which reprecented for element of O, Zn, Sn, and Ni, respectively. UVVis
spectra showed that strong absorbtion occurred at wavelength of 390-300 nm, the highest
intensity of absorption was resulted by 15mM sample. Energy gap of the sample decreasedas
increasing iys concentration. XRD pattern of the samples showed the diffraction peaksoccured at
angles of 2θ = 31.72 ̊, 34.45 ̊, 36.20 ̊, 47.50̊ and 56.57 ̊ that represented the crystal plane
orientation of (100), (002), (101), (102), and (110). The strongest line took place at angle of
36,20 ̊ with crystal plane orientation of (101) which indicated that ZnO nanorods have been
grown with hexagonal shape.
