Pembuatan Dan Karakterisasi Sifat Optik Film Tipis Barium Zirkonium Titanat Ba(Zrxti1-X)O3 Menggunakan Spektroskopi Ultraviolet-Visible
Preparation of Barium Zirconium Titanate solution using sol-gel method has been succesfully done. The chemical materials used are Barium Carbonate, Zirconium Oxide and Titanium Oxide with different composition, they are BaZr0,40Ti0,60O3, BaZr0,45Ti0,55O3, BaZr0,50Ti0,50O3 and each of them was annealed at temperature of 600°C and 650°C for 1 hour. The aim of this research is to find out the value of optical properties that are including absorbance, transmittance, refractive index, the thickness, absorption coefficient of the thin layer and also the energy gap obtained using Tauc Plot method for different composition and temperature. The thin BZT films were characterized using UV-Vis. The results show that the gap width of energy band of BaZr0,50Ti0,50O3 , BaZr0,45Ti0,55O3 , and BaZr0,40Ti0,60O3 are 3,76 eV and 3,50 eV, 3,59 eV and 3,48 eV, 3,61 eV and 3,49 eV respectively. The gap width value of band energy are between 3,43-3,75 eV. Therefore, the material semiconductor because the gap of energy band is under 6 eV.
