Sintesis Nanobipiramida Emas Dan Pengaruh Fungsionalisasi Amina Terhadap Sifat Optinya

This research was carried out to synthesize and functionalize amine to gold
nanobipyramids it’s aims to increase the stability of the gold nanobipyramids
properties. The gold nanobipyramids (GNBPs) have been successfully
synthesized by seed mediated growth method. using growth solution which
consists of 0.875 mL HAuCl4 0,01 M, 0.025 mL H2PtCl4 0,01 M, 20 mL CTAB
0,1 M, 0.2 mL AgNO3 0.01 M, 0.4 mL HCl 1 M, 0.16 mL C6H8O6 and 0.05 mL
seed solution at growth time of 2 hours and temperature of 25 ºC. The gold
bipyramids were functionalized with amine at the variation times of 0 hour, 4
hours, 12 hours and 24 hours. The synthesize results were analyzed of their
physical properties using UV-Vis spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and
Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM). The UV-Vis absorption
spectra showed that the gold nanobipyramids have two absorption peaks, namely
tranverse surface plasmon resonance (t-SPR) at a wavelength of 560 nm and
longitudinal surface plasmon resonance (l-SPR) at a wavelength of 809 nm. The
FESEM image showed that gold nanobipyramids have a surface density of 89,07
%. In addition, from the FESEM characterization, it was also found that the
average size of the length, diameter, and aspect ratio of the gold nanobipyramids
were 93,41 nm, 39,29 nm dan 2,42, respectively. The XRD result confirmed that
the as-synthesized nanomaterial is gold nanobipyramids as evidenced by the
appearance of diffraction peaks at the diffraction angle 2θ: 38,195º and 44,391º
with the crystal orientation plane of (111) and (200). Functionalization of gold
bipyramids with amine within 4 hours causes a shift in the t-SPR and l-SPR peaks
towards lower wavelengths (blueshift). The optimum functionalization time is 12
hours. Increasing the functionalization time more than 12 hours causes a
reversible reaction in where some of the CTA+ bilayer will rebinds to the surface
of the gold nanobipyramids and thus the diameter size increases and the aspect
ratio decreases.
