Analisis Kualitas Air Gambut Berdasarkan Parameter Fisis Dan Kimia Di Kampus Uin Suska Riau Kota Pekanbaru
Peat water is surface water which is often found in peatland or lowland areas, especially on the islands of Borneo and Sumatra. An analysis of the quality of peat water has been carried out using the slow sand filtering method around the Uin Suska Riau Campus in Pekanbaru City. Test samples were taken at 10 different points. Outputs from measurements are conductivity, pH and TDS, Fe and Mn values. Which are then entered into surfer 11 software. Based on the experiment before the filtration with slow sand filters, the samples that met the conductivity standards were samples with code A, B, C, D, E, and G. All TDS parameter of the samples met the quality standards but, the pH parameter was not met the quality standards. After the filtration with a slow sand filter, the conductivity parameter of all samples was meet the quality standard. For pH parameter, samples that met the quality standards were samples with code B, C, D, H, J, and L. The best sample for Fe parameters before filtration using slow sand filters has a value of 0.240 ppm and after the filtration was 0.236 ppm. Mn parameters before filtration with slow sand filters was less than 0.05 ppm and after filtration was less than 0.05 ppm.
