Pemodelan Filter Akustik Untuk Frekuensi Rendah Dengan Menggunakan Metode Komputasi
Acoustic filter model to pass low frequency (low pass filter) in a 2 dimensional pipe has been carried out using computational methods. This study is aimed to model the acoustic wave flow pattern in the pipe and calculate its transmission coefficient. The research is aimed for simplicity, the pipe used in this study was a 2-dimensional model to enlarge the variation of pipe geometries with 1, 2 and 3 enlargement pipes. This research was carried out by varying frequency of sound wave, with different cross-sectional areas. The frequencies used were 300 Hz, 350 Hz, 400 Hz, 450 Hz, 500 Hz, 550 Hz, 600 Hz, and 650 Hz. The results of this study indicate that for low frequencies ranging from 300 Hz to 650 Hz, a transmissions coefficient graph was fomed due to the high frequencies being mued (filtered). At low frequencies, the results of the transmission pressure is smaller than the entry pressure because the presence of filtered pressure when it passes through the pipe. The largest coefficient values for geometry pipes of 1, 2, and 3 were 0,6642, 04880 and 0,4823, respectively
