Pemanfaatan Fermentasi Tepung Azolla (Azolla Microphylla) Dalam Pakan Buatan Untuk Meningkatkan Pertumbuhan Dan Kelulushidupan Benih Ikan Nila Merah (Oreochromis Niloticus)
ABSTRACT
Abstract : This research was conducted in January - March 2020. The aim of this
study was to evaluate the effect of using fermented A. microphylla flour in
artificial feed on feed digestibility, feed efficiency and seed growth of red tilapia
and to evaluate what is the best percentage of fermentation of A. microphylla
flour. This study used a one-factor completely randomized design (CRD) with
five treatment levels and three replications. The treatments were P0 (0% FTA), P1
(25% FTA), P2 (50% FTA), P3 (75% FTA), P4 (100% FTA) in feed. The test
feed given to red tilapia seeds is 10% of the weight of the biomass given three
times a day, namely at 07.00, 12.00 and 17.00 WIB. The red tilapia seeds used
were 5.50 ± 0.71 cm in size with an average weight of 1.27 ± 0.08g / fish and
were placed in cages measuring 1x1x1 m with a stocking density of 25 heads /
m3. The container used to observe the digestibility parameters was an aquarium
with a size of 60x40x40 cm with a stocking density of 1 fish / 2L. The results
showed that the best treatment was P1. The use of 25% fermented A. microphylla
leaf meal resulted in 75.96% feed digestibility, 76.59% protein digestibility,
62.07% feed efficiency, 85.36% protein retention, 4.31% specific growth rate and
a test feed cost of Rp. . 8,310. The quality of water during the research was
temperature 26-310C, pH 5-7 and DO 4-7 mg / L and ammonia 0.01 ppm.
