Pengembangan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik Dengan Pendekatan Inkuiri Berbasis Literasi Sains Terhadap Sikap Ilmiah Dan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas VIII SMP

Students living in the 21st century must master science, have metacognitive
skills, be able to think critically and creatively, and be able to communicate or
collaborate effectively. The learning process in schools is required to apply 4C
capabilities (Critical Thinking, Communiaction, Collaboration, Creativity), to
achieve ideal learning conditions, the quality of teaching is always related to the
optimal use of learning models, this means that to achieve high quality teaching every
eye lessons must be organized with the right organizational model and then delivered
to students with the right model as well.
Based on the results of observations at several schools in Pekanbaru, it is
known that some biology teachers are currently rarely developing Student
Worksheets (LKPD) in the learning process, teachers only use LKPD from the
MGMP that are already available, no new innovations have been implemented in the
learning process. The results of interviews and observations with science subject
teachers at SMP IT Bunayya Pekanbaru regarding teaching materials in the form of
LKPD used in schools are: The making of IPA LKPD is still not optimal and has not
referred to the making of LKPD that is in accordance with the demands of 21st
century education which emphasizes scientific literacy and requires students to be
scientific.
Overcoming the weaknesses of conventional LKPD requires the development
of LKPD in learning, namely LKPD which leads to scientific literacy which requires
students to be scientific like the demands of 21st century education. After studying the
conditions of the research place and situation, the inquiry approach is the right thing
in developing LKPD and is combined with scientific literacy, according to Chiapetta,
there are 4 literacy criteria that students must master, namely science as a body of
knowledge, science as a way of investigation, science as a way of thinking,
interaction science, technology with society (interaction of science, technology, and
society). The inquiry approach itself is learning that emphasizes the process of
searching and finding. Subject matter is not given directly. The role of students in this
strategy is to find and find their own learning material, while the teacher acts as a
facilitator and guide for students to learn

This study aims to design and develop Student Worksheets (LKPD) with a
science literacy-based inquiry approach, test the validity of Student Worksheets
(LKPD) with a scientific literacy-based inquiry approach and determine student
learning outcomes and scientific attitudes after using Student Worksheets. (LKPD)
with a scientific literacy-based inquiry approach. The research conducted is research
and development (R&D). This Student Activity Sheet (LKPD) was developed using
the ADDIE model. This model consists of 5 development stages, namely the Analyze,
Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation stage. After the developed
LKPD is valid and suitable for use, then a second stage research is carried out with a
quasi-experimental approach to measure student learning outcomes and scientific
attitudes.
The results of the validation of the development worksheet as a whole are
classified as very valid and the practicality level of the development worksheet is also
very practical. The results of student responses to the developed student worksheet
also show a very good positive response. The results of students' scientific attitudes
between the control class and the experimental class showed a difference. The
learning outcomes of students in the control class and the experimental class also
show differences in learning outcomes, this can be seen from the n-gain value. In the
control class the n-gain value is 0.08 and in the low category, while in the
experimental class the n-gain value is 0.52 in the medium category.
