Gambaran Tingkat Pengetahuan Perawat Tentang Family Centered Care
Family centered care is an approach used in providing health services to children by involving
parents. The research aims to see a picture of the level of knowledge of nurses about family
centered care. The design of this study was descriptive with the number of respondents 72 nurses
with a total sampling technique. This study used a questionnaire that had previously been tested
for validity and reliability. The analysis used is univariate analysis. The results showed the age of
the majority of respondents were early adulthood (20-39 years) as many as 39 nurses (54,2%).
The gender of female respondents was 70 nurses (95,8%). The last education level of
respondents at the S1 Ners level was 36 nurses (50%). Long time experience of working
respondents with long experience working over 5 years were 56 nurses (77,8%). And the
majority of nurses' knowledge about family centered care already has good knowledge of 70
people (97,2%) and enough knowledge of 2 people (2,8%). Nurses' knowledge about the
understanding and objectives of the FCC answered the most correct were 72 people (100%) and
the smallest correct answers were 23 people (31,9%). Nurses' knowledge of the FCC elements
answered the most correctly was 72 people (100%) and the smallest right answers were 53
people (73,6%). And the results of nurses' knowledge about the FCC policy answered the most
correctly is 72 people (100%) and the smallest right answers as many as 52 people (72,2%). The
results of this study are expected to be a basic data to identify nurses 'knowledge about family
centered care, so that the hospital can plan an increase in nurses' knowledge by providing child
nursing training programs and an understanding of interventions about family centered care in
providing nursing care to children.
