Gambaran Tingkat Stres Dan Stresor Pada Mahasiswa Fakultas Keperawatan Universitas Riau

Stress is a condition experienced by a person caused by stressors that cannot be
managed properly. Stressors are the causes of stress. This study aims to describe the
level of stress and stressors in students. The study was conducted in Nursing Study
Program with a total of 243 samples, the measuring instrument used was The Medical
Student Stressor Questionnaire (MSSQ) which had been tested for validity with r
count> r table. The results showed that the stress levels of students were in the
category of severe stress totaling 132 respondents (54.3%), academic-related stressors
were in the category of severe stress totaling 138 respondents (56.8%), stressors
related to intrapersonal and interpersonal relationships were in the stress category.
weight totaled 98 respondents (40.3%), stressors related to teaching and learning
relationships were in the category of heavy stress totaling 111 respondents (45.7%),
stressors related to social relations were in the moderate stress category totaling 99
respondents (40.7% ), stressors related to desire and control were in the mild stress
category totaling 80 respondents (32.9%), stressors related to group activity were in
the medium stress category amounting to 94 respondents (38.7%). The conclusion is
that the student's stress level is in the category of severe stress and the stressor that
causes stress is academic-related stressors the highest. This research is expected to be
a reference material for educational institutions in implementing a learning system to
reduce stress for nursing students.
