Hubungan Dukungan Keluarga Dengan Kualitas Hidup Pasien Paska Stroke: Literature Review

Stroke is a cerevbrovascular accident that occurs very
quickly due to a block age or rupture of blood supply to brain tissue. Stroke
patients will experience impact such as limited movement and activity due to
the physical effects caused stroke, is hemiparesis. The presence of hemiparesis
causes a person with stroke to be very dependent on the care giver when in the
hospital and dependent with family at home for basic, physical needs and
physical activities. If dependence is mode on ongoing basis is will cause new
problems for patients and families such as psychological problems namely
feelings of uselessness, self-blame, low self-blame, and even depression. If this
problem is not followed up it will affect the patients quality of life. Methods:
This research uses a literature review design. Search for research articles
using geoogle schoolar and science direct with the keyword family support and
quality of life for post stroke patients in the 2016-2020. Result and
conclucion: Search results have obtained 5 articles, 4 national articles and 1
international article that have inclusion and exclusion criteria. The conclusion
of these 5 article can be concluded that sexes who suffer from stroke are men
of all ages 56-65 years old. The 5 articles stated that there was a relationship
between family support and quality of life patients after stroke. 4 Articles
concluded that the patients quality of life is good if they get good family
support. Economic factors are also an important factor in determining the
quality of life.
