Hubungan Tingkat Stres Kerja Dengan Kinerja Perawat Di Rumah Sakit: Literature Review
Job stress is an individual's inability to handle secrets in his work so
that nurses feel uncomfortable and uneasy. This condition makes a nurse
unprofessional and unproductive which can affect the performance of the nurse.
Purpose: This study aims to analyze, review, the relationship between job stress
levels and the performance of nurses in mental hospitals. Methods: the method used
is a literature review. Articles used in 2015-2020 through Google schoolar, and
Sematic Scholar. Of the 720 articles, only 6 articles met the study inclusion criteria.
Results and discussion: Based on the results of the review, it was found that 4 out of
6 articles used the chi square test which stated that there was a significant relationship
between the level of work stress and the performance of nurses in the hospital.
Meanwhile, the other 2 articles used the correlation test and found that the level of
work stress of nurses had a weak negative relationship with the performance of
nurses, which means that the performance of nurses was also influenced by several
other factors. Conclusion: There is a relationship between the level of work stress
and the performance of nurses in the hospital, meaning that the higher the level of
work stress of nurses, the lower the performance of nurses, the researcher suggests
that further researchers can conduct research on other factors related to work stress
and nurse performance.
