Gambaran Tingkat Kecemasan Dalam Menghadapi Skripsi Di Masa Pandemi Covid-19 Pada Mahasiswa Fakultas Keperawatan Universitas Riau
A health problem affecting the world today is COVID-19. The impact of COVID-
19 is also felt on final year students is anxiety in facing research. Purpose: This study aims to
describe the level of anxiety in facing research during the COVID-19 pandemic in students of the
Faculty of Nursing, Riau University. Method: This research design is descriptive quantitative
with the research sample taken based on inclusion criteria using purposive sampling technique.
The measuring instrument in this study used the Hamilton Rating Scale for Anxiety (HRS-A)
questionnaire which was distributed through an online application in the form of google form,
with data analysis used was univariate analysis and the data was presented in the form of a table
of numbers and percentages (frequency distribution). Results: In this study, there were 106
respondents, 95 women (89.6%) and 11 men (10.4%), with the majority being 22 years old as
many as 72 people (67.9%). ), most were at the thesis stage of data processing / literature review
amounting to 40 people (37.7%), and based on their level of anxiety as many as 60 people
(56.6%) respondents experienced mild anxiety, 32 people (30.2%) respondents experienced
moderate anxiety, 12 people (11.3%) experienced severe anxiety and 2 people (1.8%)
respondents experienced very severe anxiety / panic. Conclusions and suggestions: Riau
University nursing students facing research experience different levels of anxiety based on the
stages of the research being faced. The recommendation in this study is that the Faculty of
Nursing is expected to maximize campus facilities in the form of counseling to reduce the level
of anxiety in students in facing their research.
