Hubungan Dukungan Keluarga Dengan Kualitas Hidup Pada Pasien Penderita Penyakit Diabetes Melitus Literature Review

Diabetes mellitus is a disease that is not contaggious and chronic desease caused by the failure
of the pancreas to produce sufficient insilin so that bloood sugar levels increase in the blood,
this disease is one mpsst important public health issues. It is influenced by various factors such
as age, gender, social economic status, occupation, complications, and length of suffering in
patients with diabetes mellitus. It also makes the quality of life insufferers decrease and get less
support from the family. The purpose of the literature review is to see what causes the quality of
life in diabetes mellitus sufferers to decrease. The method used is a systematic literature review
based on searches with google scholar end pubmed data published in 2016-2020. Based on the
resulth and discussion of the six research method with cross sectional techniques, it was found
that there was a relationship between family support and quality of life in patients diagnosed
with diabetes mellitus and the samples are patients who meet the research journal that family
support greatly affects the quality of life in people with diabetes mellitus.
