Studi Tingkat Pemanfaatan Sumberdaya Ikan Tuna Madidihang (Thunnus Albacares) Yang Didaratkan Di Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera Bungus
ABSTRACT
The level of use is useful for knowing the status of the use of a resource or for
knowing what percentage of the resource has been used. It is feared that the use of
fish resources without control could threaten the sustainability of these resources
in the future. This study aims to determine the potential and level of resource
utilization of yellowfin tuna landed at PPS Bungus during 2015-2019. The
relationship between fishing effort (f) and catch per fishing effort (CPUE), namely:
CPUE = -10,289 Trip + 1991,5. From this equation, it is known that the CPUE
value of tuna shows that the constant (a) is 1991,5, which means that if there is no
effort, the potential available in nature is still 1991.5 kg / trip. The regression
coefficient (b) of -10,289 indicates a negative relationship between production and
effort that every 1 trip reduction of effort will cause CPUE to increase by 10,289
kg / trip, and vice versa. The coefficient of determination (R2) of 0,3984 or 39,84%
states that the rise and fall of CPUE 39,84% is influenced by the effort value, while
60,16% is influenced by other factors. The average utilization rate of yellowfin tuna
is 74,57%. This means that the utilization rate of yellowfin tuna still has the
potential to be utilized as much as 25,43% of its maximum long-lasting potential or
equal to 24.506,08 kg / year.
