ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the amount of income and determine the level of
fishermen household welfare. The research method used in this study was a survey, while
the determination of the respondents was carried out by applying the simple random
sampling technique, namely the taking of respondents from the population was done
randomly, amounting to 95 families. Based on the results of research that has been carried
out fishermen household income ranges from IDR. 3,842,105 per month and annual
income is around IDR. 46,105,263, with the total average household income can be
interpreted as being able to meet household needs and can be stated fishing families are
not classified as poor population groups. Based on the BPS Welfare Indicators (2016),
with an average total score / score of the overall indicator of 19%, the level of welfare of
fishermen's households in Panipahan Darat, Pasir Limau Kapas District, Rokan Hilir
Regency is in the Medium Welfare category, this means home life. the fishing ladder is
feasible.
