ABSTRACT
This study is aimed at knowing the interaction of cow biourin with
fertilizers for growth and production of shallot and getting a combination of cow
biourin with the best fertilizer and a consentration of cow biourin and an NPK
dose of growth and production of shallot. The research was carried out at the
experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University, Bina Widya
Campus KM 12,5, Simpang Baru Panam Village, Tampan District, Pekanbaru for
3 month from Juni to Agustus 2019. The research was carried out experimentally
in the form of a 3 x 3 factorial arranged in a completely randomized design
(RAL). Faktor I the concentration of cow biourin which stands from 3 levels
(200, 400, 600) ml.l-1 water. Faktor II NPK fertilizer dosage which consists of
3 levels (350, 175, 87,5) kg.ha-1. The parameters observed in this study were plant
height, number of leaves, tuber diameter, numer of tubers per clump, fresh weight
of tubers and weight of tubers that were. The results obtared in the analysis using
Duncan New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) at 5%. The results showed that the
use of 400 ml.l-1 water of cow biourin combined with NPK fertilizer 87,5 kg.ha-1
was able to provide better results on the fresh weight of tubers and the weight of
tubers that were suitable for storing shallot plants.
