Uji Formula Biofungisida Tablet Berbahan Aktif Konsorsium Trichoderma Virens Endofit Dan Mikoriza Indigenous Terhadap Penyakit Jamur Akar Putih Dan Pertumbuhan Bibit Tanaman Karet
ABSTRACT
The rubber plants (Hevea brasiliensis Muell Arg.) is one of the important
plantations crops in Riau Province that plays a role as a source of income,
employment revenue, economic resources and encouragement of economic
growth centers in Riau. The productivity of rubber plants in Riau is still low due
to disease infection. One of the important diseases of the rubber plant is white root
diseases (WRD) caused by the fungus Rigidoporus microporus. The alternative
techniques to controll the disease is by using natural agents namely : Trichoderma
virens endophyte and mychorrhiza which can be combined in a consortium. The
objective of this research is to study the effect of biofungicide tablets with active
ingredient of the consortium consisted Trichoderma virens endophyte and
indigenous mycorrhiza and to find the best formula to control the JAP disease on
rubber plant. The field and laboratory experiment were conducted from July till
December 2018 at the Plant Disease Laboratory and the Experimental Farm of
Agriculture Faculty, University of Riau, Jalan Bina Widya Km 12,5 Simpang
Baru, Panam, Pekanbaru. The research was carried out experimentally by using a
completely randomized design (CRD). The treatments were : F1 (15 ml T. virens
endophyte), F2 (15 g inoculant of mychorrhiza), F3 (15 ml T. virens endophyte
+ 15 g inoculant of mychorrhiza + 100 g palm fronds powder + 25 g zeolite
+ 25 g tapioca powder), F4 (15 ml T. virens endophyte + 15 g inoculant of
mychorrhiza + 100 g sago powder + 25 g sago dregs + 25 g tapioca powder), F5
(15 g inoculant of mychorrhiza + 100 g solid + 25 g zeolite + 25 g tapioca
powder) and F6 (15 ml T. virens endophyte + 100 g cocoa shells powder + 25 g
sago dregs + 25 g tapioca powder). Parameter observerd were initial symptoms on
seedlings, intensity of disease, addition of plant height, stem diameter and weight
of dry seedlings. The results indicated that F3 (15 ml T. virens endophyte + 15 g
inoculant of mychorrhiza + 100 g palm fronds powder + 25 g zeolite + 25 g
tapioca powder) is the best formula in controlling JAP with initial symptoms of
infection was 24,50 days, The seedling height was 69,46 cm, stem diameter and
dry weight were 6,60 cm and 103,62 g respectively.
