Profil Pemeriksaan Mayat Korban Kekerasan Tumpul Di Provinsi Riau Periode 2015 – 2019

Deaths due to physical violence committed by someone against the law
can be regarded as murder and can be categorized as an unnatural death. This
should receive special treatment by doing inside and out body inspection. Inside
body inspection called autopsy. One of violence is blunt force. This study aimed to
determine the autopsy profile of blunt force victims cases in Riau Province 2015 -
2019. This is a descriptive retrospective study by looking at the 5 years Visum et
Repertum data. The result found the sample were 286 cases. The number of cases
in 2015 were 11,5% (n = 33), in 2016 were 11,9% (n=34), 2017 were 23,1%
(n=66), 2018 were 27,6% (n=79), 2019 were 25,9% (n=74). Male victims 70,6%
(n = 202) and female victims of 29,4% (n = 84). Age 30-39 are the age group with
the greatest number of victims 23,8% (n = 68). Most types of injuries are
abrasions (72,7%) and bruises (65,4%). Most wound site is at the head (77,3%).
Unnatural deaths found 93,4% (n = 267) and only 6,6% (n = 19) which is a
natural death. The leading cause of death is cannot be determined 42% (n = 120).
The leading death cases are murder cases 62,2% (n=178). Origin police sector
who mostly came from pekanbaru 35% (n = 100).
