Praktik Pelayanan Publik Di Desa Seberang Taluk Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi
Public Service is an activity in the form of providing services to meet the
needs of many people. This study aims to see the practice of public services in the
village of Seberang Taluk, Kuantan Singingi Regency. In this study, the authors
used qualitative research methods. Researchers use the Mulgan and Albury
theory in which successful innovation is the creation and implementation of five
things. The five things are products, processes, methods, policies and systems.
Then the results can be seen in real terms in quality, which reflects effectiveness
and efficiency. The findings of this study are the practice of public services,
namely the Village of Seberang Taluk has followed the Village Minimum Service
Standards in processes, methods, policies, and systems. Meanwhile, products that
existed in the previous government were discontinued in the current period.
Researchers also found that the driving factors of public service practices in
Seberang Taluk Village, Kuantan Singingi Regency were human resources,
flexible services, facilities and infrastructure, territory, and leadership.
Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor for public service practices in Seberang Taluk
Village, Kuantan Singingi Regency is the absence of program sustainability.
Overall, the village government of Seberang Taluk, Kuantan Singingi Regency is
good, and can be used as a reference for other villages in making innovations.
