Pengaruh Kecerdasan Emosional Dan Literasi Numerasi Terhadap Kompetensi Pedagogik Guru Matematika Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Negeri Kota Pekanbaru
This research is conducted to overcome the problems of: 1) whether there is a positive influence between emotional intelligence towards math teachers’ competence pedagogic in junior high school Pekanbaru, 2) whether there is a positive influence of numeracy literacy towards math teachers’ competence pedagogic in junior high school Pekanbaru, 3) whether there is a positive influence between emotional intelligence and numeracy literacy together towards math teachers’ competence pedagogic in junior high school Pekanbaru.
This research is aimed to evaluate and to analyze: 1) the effect of emotional intelligence towards math teachers’ competence pedagogic in junior high school Pekanbaru, 2) the effect of numeracy literacy towards math teachers’ competence pedagogic in junior high school Pekanbaru, 3) the effect between emotional intelligence and numeracy literacy at the same time towards math teachers’ competence pedagogic in junior high school Pekanbaru. The population of this research is the teachers of state Junior High School in Pekanbaru.as calculated about 181 teachers and the research sample amounted to 125 teachers. The data collection technique used a questionnaire for emotional intelligence and numeracy literacy variables and for pedagogical competence based on PKG values. The technique of data analyzing system used in this research are descriptive statistic and inferential statistic. The collecting data system of descriptive statistic analysis in this research used Microsoft excel program and SPSS version 25 for windows. The result of this research showed that there is a significant influence between emotional intelligence (X1) and literacy numeration (X2) towards math teachers’ competence pedagogic (Y) in Junior High School Pekanbaru. This finding means that the better the emotional intelligence and numeracy literacy of the Mathematics teacher, the better the pedagogical competence.
