“Mengevaluasi Defect Pada In House Packaging Dengan Metode Dmaic Lean Six Sigma”
ABSTRACT
The stringent competition in industry may demand all this producer always giving the
best contribution in quality which best with no defect. This research aims to evaluate
defect of In House Packaging. Using the Lean Six Sigma method analysis DMAIC
(define, measure, analyze, improve and control). In define resulting 7 Critical to
Quality (CTQ) could not be accepted in product. In this evaluation also do measure
to DPMO (defect per million opportunities) and sigma level of the capability process
of In House Packaging, with 11571 m DPMO and 3,7σ, with this value already be
accepted according to sigma level table, which sigma level 3 destined for industry
production. For analyze using fishbone diagram to looking up for the root cause of
the defect with define some factors, may be human, material, process, or machine.
Improvements phase was aim to searching for relevants improve to minimize the
defect, and the last is control phase, used to control the process performance and
controlling defect required inspection so as all the workers should conducting job
regard to fix and updated standarize.
