Analisis Faktor – Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Brightness Pulp Pada Tahap Delignifikasi (Dhot) Proses Bleaching Di Fiberline #3
ABSTRACT
The pulp bleaching process at PT Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper (RAPP) uses
ECF (Elemental Chlorine Free) technology which uses chlorine dioxide (ClO2)
chemicals. The value of the degree of brightness (brightness) of the pulp obtained
at the Dhot bleaching stage is influenced by several factors. These factors come
from the condition of the pulp after the oxygen delignification stage and the
conditions in the bleaching process at the Dhot tower. These parameters are post
oxygen kappa number, post oxygen brightness, soda loss, reaction pH, reaction
temperature, retention time, and addition of ClO2. The brightness target to be
achieved at the kraft factory after the Dhot stage is ≥65%. The purpose of this
final project is to determine what factors affect the pulp brightness at Dhot stage
in the bleaching process fiberline # 3, determine the correlation value of each
parameter that affects pulp brightness at the Dhot stage in the fiberline # 3
bleaching process and determine the parameters the most influential and the least
influential at the Dhot stage in the # 3 fiberline bleaching process. From the
analysis, it can be concluded that all factors have an influence on the brigthness
produced at the Dhot stage, except COD. Post oxygen brightness has an effect of
19.66%. pH has an effect of 16.62%. Kappa number post oxygen has an effect of
16.08%. Temperature has an effect of 13.63%. The ClO2 consumption has an
effect of 13.16%. Retention time has an effect of 11.61%. Soda loss has an effect
of 8.33%. COD has a small effect of 0.91%.
