Perubahan Kualitas Kertas Dengan Parameter Nilai L, A*, B*, Dan Whiteness Akibat Lamanya Terpapar Cahaya

ABSTRACT
Light exposure or lightfastness is the ability of paper, which includes chemicals
used to see the effects of light exposure on paper. This lightfastness describes the
resistance of paper dyes or pigments to fading and yellowing when exposed to
light. The pulp and paper industry wants to see a big impact on light on paper.
The use of chemicals is very important in the effect of light exposure on this paper
The author will observe and analyze how light exposure to paper is evenly
distributed from the first week and continues until day 90. Taking several types of
paper, including PR09085C, MR05080C, MR080700, CR060700, CR04070B,
ER040900 and MR020670.The results found that the decrease in lightness value
for all paper types was not significant. For the parameter of the a * value, the
grade is OR060700 the most, for the b * PR09085C value, and the whiteness
value is the PR09085C grade. The difference from the values taken is by looking
at the color or color on the paper.
