Faktor-Faktor Yang Memengaruhi Efisiensi Primary Forward Cleaner Di Pulp Dryer 3
ABSTRACT
Cleaner efficiency is defined by the number of contaminants in the reject section
divided by the number of contaminants in the feed section, meaning that the fewer
contaminants present in the reject section, the better the efficiency value.
Likewise, vice versa, the more contaminants left in the reject section, the
efficiency value will decrease. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to the
factors that affect the efficiency of the cleaner so that the efficiency value can be
maintained and always meets the target. There are several factors that influence
the qualitative effect on cleaning efficiency, namely factors of operating
conditions such as pressure differences, consistency of feed and temperature. The
relationship between pressure differential and cleaner efficiency is that the higher
the pressure differential, the higher the efficiency value. For example, when the
pressure differential value is 151 kPa, the efficiency has a value of 81.9%, while
when the pressure differential value is 124 kPa, the efficiency has a value of
68.9%. The relationship between feed consistency and cleaner efficiency is that
the lower the feed consistency, the higher the efficiency value. It can be seen when
the feed consistency value shows the number 0.92% gets a greater efficiency,
which is 74.7%, compared to when the feed consistency is 0.9% which only gets
70.3% efficiency. The relationship between thickening factor and cleaner
efficiency is that the higher the thickening factor value, the higher the efficiency
value. For example, when the thickening factor shows the number 2.6, it gets an
efficiency of 81.9%, while the thickening factor of 1.5 gets an efficiency of 68.9%.
