Peranan Modal Sosial Pada Kampung Patin Desa Koto Mesjid Kabupaten Kampar
This study aims to determine: (1) the role of social capital in Patin Village, Koto
Mesjid Village, Kampar Regency (2) the inhibiting factors for the role of social
capital in Patin Village, Koto Mesjid Village, Kampar Regency. This study uses
Putnam's (2000) theory in which social capital is divided into 3 forms, namely
trust, network/network and norms/norms applied in technology-based catfish
cultivation in Patin Village, Koto Mesjid Village, Kampar Regency. This study
uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Informants in this study
were Head of PMD District XIII Koto Kampar, Koto Mesjid Village government,
Head of Bumdes Koto Mesjid, Innovators, and Koto Mesjid village community.
Informants were taken using purposive sampling. Data collection is done by
observation, interviews, documentation. Data analysis used qualitative data
analysis. The results showed that the role of social capital consisting of trust,
networks and norms in technology-based catfish farming practices in Patin
Village, Koto Mesjid Village, Kampar Regency went well. The factors that
support the role of social capital in Patin Village, Koto Mesjid Village, Kampar
Regency that the researchers found in the field were because the Koto Mesjid
community was still homogeneous, the awareness of the Koto Mesjid community,
and the motivation for the benefits gained by the community.
