Peranan H. Mohammad Yusuf Sebagai Tokoh Pendidik Tiga Zaman Provinsi Riau Tahun 1940 – 1980

Muhammad Yusuf is an educational figure who plays an important role
in advancing education in Riau. The aim of this study is to determine the
educational history of H. Mohammad Yusuf and determine the role of H.
Mohammad Yusuf as an educational figure in the province of Riau. This is to find
out the achievements of H. Mohammad Yusuf as an educator in Riau province. The
method used in this study is qualitative. The data obtained from the interviews was
then analyzed in their own language. The research location is Pekanbaru City. This
research began to be conducted from the beginning of the title of this research to
the completion of this thesis. The data collection techniques used were interview
techniques, literature review techniques, documentation techniques and data
analysis techniques. The results showed that Muhammad Yusuf plays a role in
advancing education in Riau, namely by making various efforts to promote
education in Riau.
