Perkembangan Madrasah Diniyah Putri Pekanbaru Sebagai Lembaga Pendidikan Kaum Perempuan Di Riau (1970-2005)
This thesis is entitled "Development of Madrasah Diniyah Putri Pekanbaru as an Educational Institution for Women in Riau (1970-2005)". The purpose of this study was to find out (1) How the history of the establishment of the Pekanbaru Putri Diniyah Madrasah 1970-2005 (2) How the Development of the Pekanbaru Putri Diniyah Madrasah 1970-2005 (3) What were the driving factors and inhibiting factors in the development of the Pekanbaru Putri Diniyah Madrasah 1970-2005. 2005. This study uses a historical approach, data collection methods with field studies in the form of documentation and interviews as well as archive and library studies. This research was conducted in Madrasah Diniyah Putri and Pekanbaru City. After the data is collected, data testing is carried out with source criticism, namely by testing the authenticity of the source and comparing the data with one another, such as comparing the results of interviews with written evidence. Based on the results of this study it was concluded that Madrasah Diniyah Putri Pekanbaru was born against the background of the mandate and ideals of the founder, namely Chadijah Ali in 1965 with his desire to raise the education of Indonesian women, especially in Pekanbaru City, a madrasa that equips students with noble competence and character. as well as skills. This education is specifically for women based on Islam. The founder of Madrasah Diniyah Putri hopes to form young women as young people who are Islamic and have skills, a sense of nationalism and a strong religious basis. The results of the research from this thesis are, (1) Madrasah Diniyah Putri was founded in 1965 starting with its pioneering by Chadijah Ali and 3 other figures. The first building owned by Madrasah Diniyah Putri was inaugurated in 1970 which is located Jalan K.H. Ahmad Dahlan. (2) Madrasah Diniyah Putri has developed quite rapidly in several years, in several aspects such as buildings and infrastructure as well as the number of teachers, but experienced ups and downs in the aspect of the number of students. (3) the supporting factors for Madrasah Diniyah Putri are the role and spirit of the founders and teachers, the performance spirit of the administrators and teachers, various programs and activities that are well implemented and affordable costs. Factors that hindered Madrasah Diniyah Putri were limited teachers, rooms and learning buildings in the early days of pioneering and the existence of financial barriers, lack of community interest and competition with other schools.
