Peranan H. Misran Rais Dalam Mempertahankan Kemerdekaan Di Rokan Hilir (1948-1949)

H.Misran Rais is one of the military figures of the Republic of Indonesia who served in Rokan Hilir in 1948-1949 in the defense of the independence of Republic of Indonesia. H. Misran Rais was born to H. Khalifah Rais and Hj. Salamah in Bengkalis on August 28, 1928. The aim of this research is to find out 1). Background of the life of H. Misran Rais, 2). H. Misran Rais's Role in Maintaining Independence in Rokan Hilir (1948-1949), 3). The Government Award H. Misran Rais Received. Data analysis used the historical writing method that consisted of several phases, namely heuristics, verification, interpretation and historiography. The result of this research is the role of H. Misran Rais in defending the independence in the Republic of Indonesia in 1948-1949 in Rokan Hilir, namely H. Misran Rais who showed extraordinary courage, wisdom and loyalty in defending the independence of the Republic of Indonesia. Indonesia between 1948-1949. As soldiers of the Guerrilla heroes, the long journey of H. Misran Rais during the Dutch military aggression incident arrived in the Simpang Tiga area of Pekanbaru near Rokan Hilir, as a supply center (P3) for nurses to maintain the health of the Republic of Indonesia soldiers in the interior of Rokan Hilir in the Dutch Military Aggression in 1948-1949 as president of the Indonesian Veterans Legion of Rokan Hilir Regency, becoming one of the leading performers who played the marching song of Rokan Hillir Regency created when he retired and which has received several awards from the Government of the Republic of Indonesia in Bagansiapiapi.
