The development of literature in Indonesia has progressed rapidly. Various phenomena about women have inspired authors to express their creations, such as women's emancipation, women's images, and portraits of women's struggles. Characters in a story have different behaviors, in this study, especially on the behavior of female characters. Behavior is a reflection of a person's mental or mental state. Through behavior, the state of a person's soul can be explained. The behavior inherent in the character can be studied with a literary psychology approach. The problem in this study is how the behavior of female characters in the collection of short stories Kata and Wanita. The purpose of this study was to describe the behavior of female characters in the collection of short stories Kata and Wanita. The approach used is a descriptive approach and data collection techniques with the method of documentation .Based on the results of this study found the behaviors of female characters in the collection of short stories Kata and Wanita. In the collection of short stories Kata and Wanita contains the behavior of female characters. There are 48 female characters. Every female character has a behavior in every story created by the author. These behaviors are related to the roles in them. Every woman shows different behavior.
