Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Menggunakan Aplikasi Powtoon Pada Materi Inti Atom Dan Radioa Ktivitas Dalam Upaya Meningkatkan Kemampuan Kognitif Siswa SMA Kelas XII
The Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia issued Circular Letter Number 4 of 2020 concerning the Implementation of Education Policies in the Emergency Period for the Spread of COVID-19, in the Circular it was explained that the learning process was carried out at home through online/distance learning. In addition, the purpose of Indonesian education as stated in the 4th paragraph of the 1945 Constitution is to educate the nation's life and the purpose of learning must still be achieved even though learning is online. R.I. Fatmala, et al (2016: 1389) stated that the cognitive learning outcomes of students on the Atomic Core and Radioactivity material obtained by interviewing techniques were still quite low, at 45.5%. According to Wiyanto, et al. (2006: 64) In general, physics learning tends to be monotonous with low scientific activity. So, research was conducted on the development of Learning Media Using Powtoon Applications on Atomic Core Materials and Radioactivity to Improve Cognitive Ability of Class XII High School / Equivalent Students which aims to determine the validity and develop learning media using Powtoon applications on atomic core material to improve cognitive abilities of students of class XII SMA / Valid equivalent. This study uses the Research and Development method with the ADDIE development model which in its implementation is only carried out until the development stage. From the results of the average validation of the material aspects, the overall score category for media experts is 3.46 with the High category. And the overall score for the material expert is 3.62 in the Very High category. so that it is declared suitable for use in learning.
