Pengembangan Media Smart Number Game Untuk Mengenal Konsep Bilangan Anak Usia 4-5 Tahun
Early childhood education is adjusted to the stages of development that the child itself goes through. Early childhood education is the basic foundation for a person's development. Providing stimulation for children in a time filled with important and unique events that provide many experiences and lessons that cannot be replaced with experiences in the future. According to Suyadi (2010), the most important part in the early childhood education environment is being able to create a unique, interesting, comfortable and fun learning atmosphere for children to develop their talents and creativity by learning through play. Based on the results of observations and interviews conducted by researchers, the ability to recognize the concept of numbers for children aged 4-5 years is still relatively low and has several problems, this is said to be due to problems including: 1) some children are less able to say one to ten, 2) some children are less able to make a sequence of numbers from one to ten through objects, 3) some children seem hesitant in connecting number symbols with objects one to ten, 4) some children are less able to distinguish between two sets of objects with the same number, which are not the same, more , and less. This research aims to; 1) developing Smart Number game media for the introduction of the concept of numbers for children aged 4-5 years; 2) determine the feasibility of Smart Number Game media for the introduction of number concepts for children aged 4-5 years, with the formulation of the problem: 1) How to develop Smart Number Game media for the introduction of number concepts for children aged 4-5 years?; 2) What is the feasibility of Smart Number Game media for the introduction of the concept of numbers for children aged 4-5 years. This research is an R&D research that adopts the development of Borg & Gall. develop 10 stages, namely: Research and information Collecting (collection of information), Planning (planning), Develop preliminary form of product (development of the initial form of the product), Preliminary field testing (initial trial), Main Product revision (first product revision) , Main field testing (main field testing), Operational product revision (wider product revision/improvement), Operational field testing (wider field testing), Final product revision (final improvement), Dissemination and implementation (product dissemination) Based on research stages and development that was developed, the researchers made simplifications and limitations into seven stages due to limited time and funds.
