Pengaruh Media Audio Visual Terhadap Kemampuan Mengenal Huruf Pada Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Di TK Negeri Pembina 3 Pekanbaru
The ability to recognize letters is part of the language aspect of children that needs to be developed by providing optimal stimulation from an early age. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect of audio-visual media on the ability to recognize letters of children aged 5-6 years in TK Negeri Pembina 3 Pekanbaru. This research is an experimental research with one group pretest-posttest research design. Data collection techniques used in the study were interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that before the learning process using audio-visual media the ability to recognize letters of children aged 5-6 years at TK Negeri Pembina 3 Pekanbaru was just starting to develop with an average observation percentage of 57.28%. After carrying out the learning process using audio-visual media, there was an increase in the ability to recognize letters for children aged 5-6 years at TK Negeri Pembina 3 Pekanbaru with an average percentage of 80.63% with the criteria for children's ability to recognize letters as expected Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that audio-visual media has a positive effect on the ability to recognize letters in children aged 5-6 years at TK Negeri Pembina 3 Pekanbaru.
