Pengaruh Supervisi Kepala Sekolah Dan Motivasi Berprestasi Guru Terhadap Kinerja Guru SD Gugus I Kecamatan Kandis Kabupaten Siak
The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of Principal Supervision and Achievement Motivation Towards Teacher’s Performance at Cluster I Elementary School, Kandis District, Siak Regency. This research was conducted in SD Negeri Kandis District, Siak Regency. The number of population was 122 teachers, and and samples were 93 respondents by first conducting instruments try out towards 27 respondents. The data analysis was conducted by using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. These techniques were done to analyze the effect of variable principal’s supervision X1 and Achievement Motivation X2 towards Teacher's Performance. The validity of test item was by using product moment and the reliability of instruments’ coefficient was counted by using Alpha Cronbach formula. The conclusion of the research results are; (1) There is positive effect between principal’s supervision towards teacher’s performance. The coefficient of determination (r2) = 0.292 or 29.2% and the regression equation Y = 80.108 + 0.333 X1 with correlation low category. (2) There is positive effect between Achievement Motivation towards Teacher’s Performance. The coefficient of determination (r2) = 0.223 or 22.3% and the regression equation = Y = 85.115 + 0.512X2 with correlation low category. (3) There is positive effect between Principal Supervision and Achievement Motivation towards Teacher’s Performance. The coefficient of determination (r2) = 0.455 or 45.5%. It means the amount of influence of Principal’s Supervision and Achievement Motivation towards Teacher’s Performance is 45.5% and the regression equation = 67.642+ 0.215 X1+0.243X2 while the rest is affected by other factors. The research results showed that the principal's supervision and achievement motivation have a positive effect towards teacher’s performance either simultaneously or partially.
