Pengembangan Multimedia Berbasis Video Pembelajaran Dalam Upaya Peningkatan Motivasi Belajar Siswa
The progress of science and technology is a challenge for every teacher in making improvements to every learning process in the world of education. The importance of generating student learning motivation which can improve learning outcomes will affect the quality of education and the success of teachers in achieving learning goals, in the learning process many factors that affect motivation such as attitudes, interest in learning habits and self-concept overcoming student passive attitudes can be overcome by using learning media. which varies and can help make it easier for teachers to convey learning material and objectives.
The existence of learning resources that students can use in distance learning is very important. Therefore, teachers as educators must respond to the Covid-19 pandemic by innovating through the development of creativity in learning. One thing that teachers can do is develop learning resources that are effective, fun, according to the characteristics of students. The use of relevant learning media can give students a certain enthusiasm to learn and create fun learning so that learning objectives will be easily achieved. In addition, a fun learning process can make it easier for students to increase their learning motivation and learning achievement. One of the learning media that can be used is PowerPoint which is specially designed in the form of learning videos that can display learning materials to be interesting and can be used as material for independent study.
This research is aimed to analyse the validity level of multimedia- based learning video display, to test its practicality, and to test its effectiveness on improving students’ learning motivation.
This research is included in the type of development research that makes a new product in the learning system carried out at SMAN 1 Pekanbaru. The time of this research starts from June 2020 to March 2021. The subjects in this study were class XII students majoring in Social Studies consisting of 1 needs analysis class consisting of 36 students. The data analysis method in this study uses needs analysis, product feasibility, practicality and product effectiveness testing and student learning motivation testing.
The results of the study are in accordance with the stages of developing the ADDIE model. The analysis phase was began with the requisite analysis which discovered that students need variety of learning-media to improve their motivation in learning. The Design phase discovered a pre-trial product. The Development Phase toward Media- Interactive Product had passed the proper test of the media and the material done by the expert validator. In this phase, the validator 1 and 2 stated that the media is proper, and the material is also proper. The Implementation

phase was done on grade XII IPS which was known that Multimedia is very practical with the highest score of the implementation strength of 91,35% and the lowest score at the time- suitability with 82,16%.
Based on all these indicators, the results of the practicality assessment were obtained with a percentage of 89.94% in the range of 81%-100% and it was stated that the learning video was very practical. The results of the assessment of the effectiveness of the implementation of learning by teachers with an acquisition score of 164 and a maximum score of 176. So that the percentage of assessment is 93.18% or 80% and is declared effective. Learning video-based multimedia in testing students' learning motivation gained a percentage of success rate of 89.26% which was included in the range of 81%-100% and it was stated that the success rate was 'very high'. This means that evaluation media can already be used. The evaluation stage of the media can already be used. The data analysis method used the N-Gain difference test with the help of SPSS. The results of the analysis show that students' learning motivation with a percentage of 74.5% in the 'High' category. The end of this research is to produce multimedia-based learning videos.
