This research aims to determine the implementation of e-government in the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Riau Province and to determine the inhibiting factors for the implementation of e-government in the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Riau Province. The research method used is a qualitative method. This research can be categorized as a descriptive study, namely prioritizing the list of interviews as a means of collecting data and the data collected by this tool is then used as the main raw material to analyze the empirical conditions of the objectivity of the existence of the research objectives at the research location. The location of this research is in the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Riau Province with the key informant of this research is the Head of the Riau Provincial Ministry of Religion and the informants in this study are the Head of Madrasah Education, Head of Religious Education and Islamic Religious Education, Head of Haj and Umrah Implementation, Head of Affairs. Islam, the Head of Information on Islamic Religion and Empowerment of Zakat and Waqf and the Community who deals at the Regional Office of Kemenang, Riau Province. The result of the research is that the implementation of E-Government at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Riau Province has been implemented quite well.
