various natural disasters. Bengkalis Regency Government has the responsibility and
authority in overcoming abrasion which is a form of environmental control which is
part of the area based on Law Number 27 of 2007 concerning Management of Coastal
Areas and Small Islands. With reduced abrasion, it is expected that the eroded
Bengkalis coastal area can reduce the impact caused by abrasion. However, what is
happening today is that there are still many coastal areas that are still eroded by
abrasion that grow 7-8 meters / year. This has had a negative impact on the survival of
the community and damaged existing infrastructure. For government forest
rehabilitation and construction of a barrier wave. In addition, the government must also
focus on preventing abrasion by allocating adequate budgets and further enhancing
good relations and coordination with the community and coordination between
government agencies that have the same mission in tackling abrasion. However, his
efforts are good enough, but not maximal.
Through the actions and efforts made by the government in preventing abrasion
in Bengkalis Regency, of course it can be seen based on the regulations, decrees,
