Identifikasi Mikroalga Sebagai Sumber Lipid Di Perairan Rawa Gambut Desa Kota Garo Kecamatan Tapung Hilir Provinsi Riau
ABSTRACT
Microalgae have the potential as raw material for biofuels, such as biodiesel and bioethanol. This is to determine the availability of raw materials found in nature, which can be seen from the oil or lipid content. The purpose of this study was to determine the types, abundance, biomass, and lipid content of the 3 microalga species that were the largest. This research was conducted in August - September 2020 at the Laboratory of Aquatic Biology, Riau University. This study uses a survey method. The results obtained were that the chlrorophyceae class was the largest in peat swamp waters (3 species). The results of this study indicate that there are 3 species of the Chlorella sp., Trachelomonas sp. and Chroococus giganteus identified species. Biomass Chroococus giganteus 3,30 ind / l, Trachelomonas sp. 5.12 g, and Chlorella sp. 3.28 g. Based on the results of the calculation of its lipid content, it was obtained chlorella sp.as much as wet sample 0,2155 % dry sample 1,6585%, Trachelomonas sp. as much as wet sample 0,0694 % dry sample 0,04766 %, and Chroococus giganteus as much as wet sample 0,0971 % dry sample 1,444 %. The water quality parameter of the Garo City Village Peat Swamp are as follows: temperature 29-30 oC, transparency 58,5-62,55 cm, DO 4,405-4,402 mg/L and CO2 8,99-11,98 mg/L. Keywords: Biomass, bioethanol, soxhlet, microalgae
