Pengaruh Pemberian Vitamin C Dalam Pakan Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Kelulushidupan Ikan Baung (Hemibagrus Nemurus) Pada Sistem Resirkulasi
Abstract
This research was conducted from 30 August to 11 October 2020 which took place at the Laboratory of Aquaculture, majoring in Aquaculture, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, University of Riau. This study aims to determine the optimal dose of vitamin C given to feed in increasing the growth and survival rate of Baung fish reared in the recirculation system.
The method used in this research is the experimental method completely randomized design (CRD) 1 factor with 5 levels of treatment. The treatments used were 1) vitamin C 500 mg / kg; 2) vitamin C 750 mg / kg; 3) vitamin C 1000 mg / kg; 4) vitamin C 1250 mg / kg; 5) without vitamins C and E (control). In each treatment given vitamin C, vitamin E was added at a dose of 120 IU / kg.
The results showed that the best treatment was the addition of a dose of vitamin C 1250 mg / kg which resulted in an absolute weight growth of 8.94 ± 0.10 g, an absolute length growth of 8.94 ± 0.10 cm, a specific growth rate of 3.87. ± 0.04%, food conversion ratio of 1.34 ± 0.06%, feed efficiency of 74.79 ± 3.31%, the results of the analysis of vitamin C were 454.84 mg / 100 g, the results of the analysis of vitamin E were 61.57 mg / 100 g, and survival rate was 97.77 ± 3.85%.
